Oxygen reduction prevents fires from spreading
Effective protection against fires and fire damage: With the OxyReduct® oxygen reduction system, you can prevent an open fire from developing in your protected areas under defined conditions. Releasing nitrogen into the protected area lowers the oxygen concentration to a level below the specified ignition threshold for the materials present. The oxygen available is no longer enough for a fire to maintain itself or spread. Nevertheless, the protected area remains accessible for occasional, non-continuous activities.

WHY WAGNER
WAGNER is an installer of oxygen reduction systems. Regular audits review and confirm the lasting quality of the organization and processes. The VdS-approved OxyReduct® system also passes tests for different environmental conditions such as corrosion and temperature resistance, humidity, vibration, EMC, impact strength and others. The software is also tested, and WAGNER is certified to ISO 27001. Our in-house fire protection lab can determine the right oxygen concentration for every project. This ensures that the system offers ideal protection for the respective application and that the solution is cost-effective.
Oxygen reduction system with VPSA for your protected area
Nitrogen is the main component of our air, accounting for 78 percent by volume, and can be extracted from the ambient air on location with an OxyReduct® nitrogen generator. As nitrogen has a similar density to air, the gas spreads evenly when introduced in a protected area, ensuring a constant protective atmosphere everywhere. The nitrogen generation method is selected and the system is configured specific to the application. This is where the oxygen reduction system’s strengths come into play in a wide range of applications: in automated warehouses, museums and archives, data centers, and many other self-contained spaces.

The OxyReduct® oxygen reduction system is VdS-approved. OxyReduct® meets especially high quality standards for your applications. Our range of systems developed in-house offers you a unique variety and enables system concepts that can be optimally tailored to the requirements of the respective application. The systems extract the nitrogen directly from the ambient air applying two alternative methods: via membrane technology or by using activated carbon. The application is decisive. PROTECTION CONCEPT
With their individual requirements, all protected areas need customized fire protection solutions. If a fire is detected, it may make sense to shut off the power to prevent possible ignition power from electricity. However, for applications that require an uninterruptible power supply, such as data centers, this measure can result in significant financial damage. The specialists from WAGNER have developed and realized custom concepts for a wide range of different applications. After risk analysis and identification of the protection goals, the result is a tailored fire protection solution.
