After the digital application through our application portal, we start with a face-to-face meeting in a group with other applicants and our apprentices. If we think someone might be a good fit, we invite them to our offices for a second interview. The process from application to contract offer usually takes only a few weeks.

The application period closes in May of each year, approximately three to four months prior to the start of the apprenticeship.

The WAGNER Group GmbH is an equipment manufacturer in the field of fire protection and thus in the field of safety engineering. The aspect of safety places certain requirements on us as an employer, including that we have a certificate of good conduct for all employees and thus proof of any previous convictions.

The apprenticeship usually starts in September and lasts 3 or 3.5 years, depending on the trade. It can be shortened by six months if you perform well in the company and in vocational school after passing the intermediate examination/final examination part 1.

We offer personal development opportunities and extensive training through our in-house academy. We discuss individual development programs with apprentices that are tailored to them and their plans. Whether it's a business course, a part-time degree or a professional certification, we'll find opportunities that work for both parties.

  • The security of an international, growing and independent family-owned company
  • The opportunity to work on exciting, innovative and complex fire protection solutions
  • A professional and collegial working atmosphere in an experienced and competent team with flat hierarchies and short decision paths
  • Accompanied onboarding with detailed induction planning
  • Work-life balance through flexible working hours and the option of mobile working
  • Sustainable mobility solutions: Job ticket for public transportation and company bike program
  • Fit and healthy with a wide range of health offers, such as fitness cooperation with Hansefit, participation in sporting events (including B2Run) and health check-ups by the company doctor
  • Company benefits: discounts and offers on selected portals and a non-cash benefit card
  • Company events such as summer and Christmas parties and regular cross-departmental after-work events

At WAGNER you feel like part of a big family. We support each other, help each other and share our knowledge. The atmosphere is friendly and inviting.
